OVERVIEW
To expand the reach and bring high convenience to global audience, OpenSky.tv was selected as the new official broadcasting platform of the "National Day Variety Show and Youth Concert" by the Organising Committee of Compatriots in Hong Kong in Celebration of the 69th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China. Powered by TFI, OpenSky.tv live streamed the "National Day Variety Show" on 1 Oct 2018 and provided the "National Day Youth Concert" catch-up the day after the event.
Titled with "Welcome to the Prosperous World", this year spectacular performances varied from dance version of the national treasure painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" to martial arts by People’s Liberation Army (PLA), as well as pop music by singers Elisa Chan, Eric Suen and Janice Yan etc. It is one of the most highlighted event on 1 October.
