HKIE’s member visiting TFI to learn state-of-the-art video technology

A technical visit organized by TFI and The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) was successfully held on 11 Nov 2017, aiming to share on the topic of future trend of video technology.

During the visit, representatives of TFI had introduced about the advanced video solutions with highlight on the HERMES Live Encoder M. The One Click Go Live feature enables company to live stream their events at broadcast grade level worldwide with high stability and reliability. Apart from that, our high quality video enhancement technologies were demonstrated, we showed how to adjust Ultra High Definition (UHD), High Dynamic Range (HDR), Wide Color Gamut (WCG) and High Frame Rate (HFR) to improve the resolution, heighten the color contrast, offer excellent color display and allow smoother motion.

In addition, our patented encoding technology that could encode massive video files at a speedy rate was also presented.

The event had received very positive feedback. It had strengthened HKIE members’ understanding on the significance and future trend of video technology.
