THE SITUATION

Learning and Teaching Expo is Asia’s leading education expo and well supported by education community across the Asia-Pacific region. This is the second year for Microsoft to organize the Master Code Competition, aiming to share a new dimension of education about computational thinking and gamified learning. In the competition, students are encouraged to apply coding and creative thinking skills in designing a ‘Smart City’ for Minecraft, an open-world game specifically developed for educational use. TFI is entrusted to live stream the finals to the general public.

 

THE CHALLENGE

Due to limited space, some of the supporters of the contestants are not able to watch the competition on site. To reach wider audience, Microsoft partnered with TFI to live stream the competition on Microsoft’s Facebook.
