Nowadays, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) have become the most prospective areas for the technological development in Hong Kong. With the aim of helping organizations to seize this opportunity, the IET Hong Kong (IET) has organized a half-day forum which talked about the applications of VR and AR in Hong Kong.
There is only limited equipment available for live streaming from venue. If IET applied traditional broadcasting solution, an extra human resources and costs would be required. In order to deliver live streaming in broadcast quality with affordable price, IET selected HERMES Live.
REASONS FOR SELECTION
1. "One Click Go Live" live streaming
Through "One-Click-Go-Live" feature of HERMES Live, user only needs to connect the power, network and camera with the HERMES Live Encoder M, and then the event can go live seamlessly. In addition, IET can control the live streaming process with the user-friendly interface easily.
2. Diversified live streaming platform
HERMES Live supports more than one distribution channel, apart from embedding the live video player in client’s website, it endorses simulcasting to a variety of social media platforms like Facebook.
3. Wonderful user experience to audience
With excellent user interface and broadcast quality live streaming technology, our HERMES Live can create a very good user experience to audiences. Audiences would stay longer to watch the live forum. This wonderful user experience helps build positive brand and word of mouth to IET.
