THE SITUATION

Getting plenty of positive feedback and nice experience from the past cooperation, Microsoft Hong Kong continuously partnered with TFI to live stream the Tech Forum – Azure Fundamentals to the public on 2 May 2017.

THE CHALLENGE

To deliver a premium interactive live forum, Microsoft strongly required a reliable and trustable vendor to provide live streaming service for seamless real time communication between the online audience and speakers. The key is to find a vendor who has the capability to offer a broadcast quality and steady live stream.

REASONS FOR SELECTION

1. Stable and reliable streaming

HERMES Live is powered by Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Akamai, the leading Content Delivery Network (CDN) services provider, delivering smooth and reliable streaming.

2. Multi-screen live streaming

HERMES Live supports multi-screen live streaming. With the multiple display screens, it can show the PowerPoint slides and real-time presentation simultaneously. It helps make the presentation more apparent and comprehensive.

3. Real time Q&A session

At the end of the forum, there was a Q&A session. Speakers could get comments and responses immediately from the live feed. It effectively facilitated the interaction between the speakers and the audiences.
