OVERVIEW
To celebrate Dionysus Contemporary Theatre’s 5-year anniversary, with renowned artist Anthony Wong (黃秋生) at the helm as artistic director, playwright and lead actor, stage drama《夕陽戰士》was performed at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in July, 2018. With state-of-the-art video technology and the superior HERMES Live Encoder M, TFI was entitled as the technology provider to deliver the first-ever live streaming professional theatre performance of Dionysus Contemporary Theatre and elevated the public interest towards stage drama.

Established in Hong Kong, Dionysus Contemporary Theatre was founded by Anthony Wong, Olivia Yan and Joyce Cheung in 2013. The company strives to promote theatre culture and foster arts education with the spirit of ‘truth, kindness and beauty’. Other than local performance, it was invited twice to perform in the Huayi Chinese Festival of Arts in Singapore.
